Progressive and Imaginative Graphic DesignerGraphic Designers prepare for and plan concepts by studying information and materials within the various industries we serve. We are always searching for talented team players who can illustrate concept by design to produce top quality, creative concepts and layouts for traditional advertising and websites. All artwork performed must support and augment the marketing communication goals for the client plus meet all deadlines on time and on budget. Dynamic and Customer-Focused Account CoordinatorA key player in the success of any account is a solid coordinator managing the day-to-day workflow of the accounts to which he/she is assigned. This position is client-facing and internally accountable. Projects are assured of quality and alignment with stated strategies for all efforts with an effective account coordinator. We are looking for a team player willing to serve as the eyes and ears of the team to make certain all opportunities to make the client’s project a winning success are relayed to the team and the client. This position is responsible for writing estimates for work, providing answers to client’s questions and attending outside functions and planning meetings as requested by the Account Executive (AE). Assist AE’s as needed by helping with specific projects to make sure they meet criteria as set by the AE and the client. |
Qualifications:Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism or related field; five years prior experience in addition to previous internships. Efficient and Effective Project Coordinator/Media BuyerHigh energy, tech savvy candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience in print production/project management and general understanding of various types of advertising media fulfill an important role at McDaniels. Traits such as collaboration, negotiation, critical and strategic thinking, and attention to detail, multitasking and efficiency are necessary in being successful in this position. Responsible for management of the production of print advertising, trade displays, direct mail, and brochures; evaluate methods to improve cost savings, efficiency, quality and/or scheduling of projects; cost estimating, establishing media budgets, proofing, preparing insertion and purchase orders, and developing proposals; executes media plans in assigned group of markets within established budgets; monitors buys in progress by spot checking placement and negotiating credit or billing adjustments when necessary. |
Qualifications:Candidates must have five years experience with print production management in traditional and digital formats. A four year degree is preferred. Must possess a thorough technical knowledge of color theory, reproduction methodology including all types of lithographic an digital printing, paper grades and types, bindery, finishing techniques, photographic process and retouch, etc. Successful candidates will have an eye for critical color judgments and evaluations and a general knowledge of Mac and PC platforms including all Microsoft Office software and Adobe Creative Suite. |
Attentive and Effective Marketing ConsultantThe Account Executive (AE) is accountable for maintaining superior client relationships and plays a major role in the development and execution of integrated campaigns, innovative programs and high-quality work. The AE works closely with Clients and the Creative team to ensure that projects are developed and delivered on time, within budget and per expectations. The Account Executive is the primary point of contact, connecting and discovering needs and expectations of the client relative to strategic objectives, creative, and timelines and deliverables. Being strategically clear, concise, accurate, and timely proves to the client that our organization is a valuable asset to the client’s company. Attributes that make this person successful in this position include entrepreneurial spirit and drive, exceptional written and verbal communicator, self-motivated and results-driven, collaborative and innovative. Must be able to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. |
Qualifications:The ideal candidate is a bright, hard-working and outgoing team-player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. A Bachelor Degree in Advertising or Communications and 3-4 years professional experience in a marketing firm is required. |
